We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the brand new Caiman iQ Forms App, a powerful new tool designed to revolutionise how your team captures data in the field. This intuitive mobile application seamlessly integrates with the Caiman iQ system, making data collection faster, more accurate, and incredibly efficient. 

Simplifying Safety Observations, Driving Continuous Improvement 

Our initial focus for the iQ Forms App is to transform the process of capturing Observation and Safety Observation Cards. We know that encouraging regular observations is key to fostering a proactive safety culture and driving continuous improvement within any organisation. The new app makes this easier than ever before. 

How It Works: From Template to Action 

It all begins in the Caiman iQ Forms module, where you have complete control to create custom form templates. Whether you need simple questions, date fields, single or multiple-choice options, or the ability to upload images, our flexible template builder provides flexibility and consistency. Template creators can also determine whether fields are mandatory to ensure all critical information is captured. 

Once your form template is ready and configured for the app, Caiman iQ automatically generates a unique QR Code. These QR codes can be strategically placed around your workshop, warehouse, on equipment or in office spaces. 

When a team member scans a QR code with their device which has the iQ Forms App installed, they’re immediately taken to the correct form to complete it. No more searching, no more paper forms getting lost and increased efficiency. 

Streamlined Workflows: From Field to Follow-Up 

The efficiency doesn’t stop at data capture. We’ve built in robust Review and Approval workflows directly into the Form template. Once a form is completed and submitted via the app, it can automatically be routed for review. For Observation Cards, this means completed forms can go straight to your HSEQ department for immediate processing. 

Reviewers will see these forms clearly displayed on their Caiman iQ dashboards and receive email notifications, ensuring no completed forms are missed. 

Crucially, if an Observation Card highlights an issue requiring further action, an action record can be generated directly from the approved form within the Caiman iQ Actions and Audits module. Key data from the form template can even be automatically linked and populated into the new action record, saving valuable administration time and reducing manual entry errors.
